Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most well-known roles are Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Originating from Worthington Ohio she left high school in order to relocate to Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. They were struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first part in the acting world as Rachel's Room's main character. The role she played as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost on which she acted as a principal actor for the first two seasons winning an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast.
