Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most well-known roles are Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Originating from Worthington Ohio she left high school in order to relocate to Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. They were struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first part in the acting world as Rachel's Room's main character. The role she played as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost on which she acted as a principal actor for the first two seasons winning an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace was a co-star with Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, wanted to move to film. In 2007, she was as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. The actress reprised her character as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version of the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played the role as Shannon for two additional episodes of Lost which included the finale of the series. Grace appeared on Californication's 6th season which ran from 2013 to the year 2014.
